Termite Treatment Cost Calculator: Estimate Your Job Before You Call

A rough estimate helps you walk into quotes knowing what's reasonable — but no online tool replaces a licensed inspector. For a full breakdown of what each method costs and why, see the Termite Treatment Cost overview.

How the Estimate Is Built

The calculator uses four inputs because those four factors explain most of the price variation between jobs:

What the Output Means — and What It Doesn't

The estimate is a ballpark figure based on industry-wide price ranges. It does not account for your region's labor market, the specific product a company uses, infestation severity, site access difficulty, or warranty terms. Two quotes for the same method on the same home can differ by 30–40% within the same zip code — that spread is normal, not a sign that one company is wrong.

Use the output to sanity-check quotes: if a number comes in far below the estimate range, ask what's excluded. If it comes in well above, ask for an itemized breakdown. Neither extreme is automatically wrong, but both deserve a conversation.

Inputs the Calculator Cannot Capture

Some cost drivers fall outside any calculator's reach — Formosan termite infestations, termite bond pricing, and structural damage repair can all push totals well beyond a standard estimate. The Termite Treatment Cost overview covers these variables in detail.

After You Have a Number: Next Steps

Get a licensed WDO inspection before committing to any treatment — it confirms species, maps active damage, and determines the right method. For details on what inspection precedes, see Liquid Termite Treatment.

Once you know your method, get at least three quotes from licensed local pest-control companies. For a side-by-side comparison of all approaches, see Termite Control.

All estimates are ranges only, reflecting typical U.S. industry pricing as of 2026. Actual costs vary by region, species, severity, and company — this tool is not a quote. For DIY options and how they compare, see Diy Termite Treatment.

A quick, private 2026 estimate — nothing you enter here is sent anywhere. Real prices vary widely by home size, termite species, infestation severity, construction and contractor, so always get 3 quotes from licensed local pest-control pros after a professional inspection.

Results are estimates only. Termite pricing depends on your home’s size and construction, the termite species, how far the infestation has spread, access, and local labor. Whole-structure jobs (especially tent fumigation for drywood or Formosan termites) scale with the cubic footage of the home, while spot treatments target a small, defined area. Always get a professional inspection first and at least three written quotes from licensed local pest-control companies.

What Moves Your Number

The biggest driver is the treatment method matched to the problem. Spot or localized treatment is cheapest because it targets a small, defined area of active drywood termites. A liquid/soil barrier or a bait system protects the whole structure against subterranean termites and sits in the mid range, priced roughly by the linear feet of foundation or the number of bait stations. Tent fumigation is a whole-home treatment for widespread drywood or Formosan infestations and scales with the cubic footage of the house, which is why larger homes reach the top of the range. Severity multiplies the number: a localized problem costs less than a moderate one, and a whole-home infestation costs the most. Species matters too — Formosan termites form large, aggressive colonies and often push costs higher than typical subterranean or drywood jobs.
